Vision based gesture recognition with Kinect sensor
Gesture recognition and its implementation that support Human Computer systems are becoming very popular mode of interaction now a days. It allows to interfacing the man machine commutative information flow naturally. Vision based gesture recognition has the potential that can provide intuitive and effective interaction between man and machine. However there are not adequate tools and techniques that support for developing, detecting or executing these tasks. In this paper we will implement a prototype that facilitates recording data during building some action based activities captured by the Kinect sensor. We analyze those recorded clips and visualize the user interactions by recognition the gestures objects based on depth, IR and skeletal data. Kinect tools include an analysis feature, a time-line-based approach that manually or automatically can mark the recording sequences of clips. We will implement both discrete and continuous gestures by using AdaBoast machine learning approach to detect hands activities. Our result suggest that the learning mechanism can achieve more than 98% of confidence level of given gestures.

Alternatives in Dual Energy Radiography data analysis
A dual energy radiography method using basis decomposition was developed, the process to do it is shown and it is compared against an alternate more direct method of analyzing the data using the logarithm of the original data, concluding that this second method does work but it is not better than basis decomposition.

GenNet: A Tool for Qualitative and Quantitative Modelling of Gene Regulatory Networks
Gene regulatory networks have an important role to study the behaviour of genes. By analysing
these Gene Regulatory Networks we can get the detailed information i.e. the occurrence of diseases by
changing behaviour of GRNs. Many different approaches are used (i.e. qualitative modelling and hybrid
modelling) and various tools (i.e. GenoTech, GINsim) have been developed to model and simulate gene
regulatory networks. GenoTech allows the user to specify a GRN on Graphical User Interface (GUI) according
to the asynchronous multivalued logical functions of René Thomas, and to simulate and/or analyse its
qualitative dynamical behaviour. René
Thomas discrete modelling of gene regulatory network (GRN) is a
well known approach to study the dynamics of genes. It deals with some parameters which reflect the possible
targets of trajectories. Those parameters are priory unknown. These unknown parameters are fetched using
another model checking tool SMBioNet. SMBioNet produces all the possible parameters satisfying the given
Computational Logic Tree (CTL) formula as input. This approach involving logical parameters and conditions
also known as qualitative modelling of GRN. However, this approach neglects the time delays for a gene to
pass from one level of expression to another one i.e. inhibition to activation and vice versa. To find out these
time delays, another modelling tool HyTech is used to perform hybrid modelling of GRN.
We have developed a Java based tool called GenNet http://asanian.com/gennet to facilitate the
model checking user by providing a unique GUI layout for both qualitative and quantitative modelling of GRNs.
As we discussed, three separate modelling tools are used for complete modelling and analysis of a GRN. This
process is much lengthy and takes too much time. GenNet assists the modelling users by providing some extra
features i.e. CTL editor, parameters filtering and input/output files management.
GenNet takes a GRN network as input and does all the rest of computations i.e. CTL verification,
K-parameters generation, parameter implication to GRN, state graph, hybrid modelling and parameter
filtration automatically. GenNet serves the user by computing the results within seconds that were taking hours
and days of manual computation

Implementation of Stereographic and Spherical Projection in Structural Geology with JavaScript and the web through SvgNet
Projections are a "prescribed" part of structural analysis and visualizations, with the change in day and age numerous computer applications have been written to aid this. Most of them have taken care in explaining and elaborating the mathematical and programmatic aspects of their implementation. These applications and/or programs all have attained a robust and well accepted status in the field. The previously developed programs have mostly taken a traditional approach in code and design, i.e. the use of programming languages like C/C++, Fortran, Java, Python or packages like Matlab, Mathematica etc. The Open Source Web application discussed here takes up the task of removing system dependencies of the code by the use of JavaScript, the language of the web-browsers, for the entirety of the programming, and improves portability of the output by directly plotting into Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).

Project Report on Digital Signal Transmission over MIMO-OFDM System
The increased data rates and reliability required to support emerging multimedia applications
require new communications technology. We present results regarding two techniques used
in high data rate transmission As orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) the
and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme. The aim of this dissertation is to find
efficient methods of providing reliable communication links using MIMO-OFDM under fast
fading scenarios. Toward this end, both equalization and channel coding techniques are
investigated. Despite many advantages of OFDM, OFDM signals are very susceptible to the
time-varying channel, which breaks the orthogonality between sub-carriers, resulting in
inter-channel interference (ICI). The ICI increases an irreducible error floor in proportion to
the normalized Doppler frequency.
