Luonnontieteiden kandidaatintutkielman pohja matematiikan LuK-töitä varten. Jyväskylän yliopisto, Matematiikan ja tilastotieteen laitos.

This template is for submissions to the journal Frontiers of Computer Science (FCS). https://link.springer.com/journal/11704/submission-guidelines

A quiet, typographic 16:9 Beamer theme in olive green, built for a 45-minute defence and carried through one. Small-caps frame titles on a full-bleed band; card rows for a process or a pipeline; section dividers that take a subtitle; a SWOT grid whose quadrant colours are mixed from its two axes rather than picked. EB Garamond and Montserrat are bundled and loaded by filename, so nothing has to be installed and nothing is silently substituted. The unusual part is what it does when a slide holds too much: it says so, and names the frame. It never scales the type down to fit. A deck whose size changes from page to page is worse than a deck that is one page longer, and auto-shrinking produces the first without ever telling you. The included demo.tex fills every construct to a realistic length, so you can see a spacing problem before your own text hides it. Compile with XeLaTeX. Extends the "midcentury modern" theme by Jules Leguy (CC BY 4.0); this version is also CC BY 4.0. No institutional logo is included — the placeholder is yours to replace.

A 16:10 Beamer deck in a desaturated slate blue-grey, on stock themes (Madrid, miniframes, circles). No fonts to install, and it compiles under pdfLaTeX or XeLaTeX as it is. Two things it adds. Beamer gives you three blocks — block, example, alert; this gives you seven, each named for what it holds: Example, Comment, Proposal, Reminder, Problem, Challenge, Definition. And the whole palette is derived from a single colour by colour-wheel relations, all seven at the same lightness and saturation, so the hue distinguishes them and nothing shouts. Change one \definecolor and the deck re-tints. Also included: a photographic title page that covers the slide at any aspect ratio without distorting, the same photograph as a 6.7% watermark under every slide, and a SWOT grid. CC BY 4.0. The cover photograph is the author's own — replace it with yours; one line sets both the cover and the watermark. The logo is a placeholder, not anyone's mark.

Template for PhD thesis reports of the PhD program in Natural and Applied Sciences of the University of Navarra, 2026/08/27v5.3. Formatos de memoria de la tesis del programa de doctorado en Ciencias Naturales y Aplicadas de la Universidad de Navarra

This LaTeX template is offered by the UCF College of Graduate Studies. Please note: the thesis/dissertation document must be compiled with LuaLaTeX instead of pdfLaTeX, and TeX Live 2025 instead of 2026, for the document to render properly. This template is intended to offer a basic outline of the formatting requirements. These files are not guaranteed to be error free or work precisely as written and may require customization. Students are responsible for the formatting their ETD to meet the requirements set forth in the Thesis and Dissertation Manual even if the LaTeX template is used. LaTeX support is provided by UCF’s Office of Research. Sign up for office hours (https://rci.research.ucf.edu/resource/virtual-office-hours/ ) or contact ResearchIT@ucf.edu for more information. It is highly suggested that LaTeX users review the Manuscript Submission Checklist located in the Thesis and Dissertation Webcourse on the Submit the Format Review Assignment page prior to submitting for official review to ensure their file is formatted properly.

The official LaTeX author template for Explorations in Linguistic Review (ELR). Guidelines and submissions: https://elr-linguistics.org/submissions/ This template is designed for manuscript preparation and publication in Explorations in Linguistic Review, an open-access journal covering theoretical, formal, comparative, and interdisciplinary research in linguistics. The template provides a consistent ELR article layout, including title and author information, affiliations, abstract and keywords, numbered sections, linguistic examples, tables and figures, syntactic trees, footnotes, article metadata, and end-matter sections. It also includes the ELR bibliography style (elr-unified.bst) for author–year citations and linguistics-style reference formatting. The template supports the ELR Main Journal and the HCLT, RCTL, and PCP special-issue series, as well as anonymous manuscript preparation for peer review. Compilation: XeLaTeX → BibTeX → XeLaTeX → XeLaTeX. Overleaf will execute these steps automatically as needed on each "Recompile". Authors should normally edit only main.tex and references.bib; the accompanying style and bibliography files control the journal formatting.

An example LaTeX project for starting off your own article

Know the LaTeX command you want to use but can't remember how to write it? Here we present a great tips sheet produced by Dave Richeson; it's pre-loaded in Overleaf so you can see how the commands work instantly. Simply click on the button above to open a version in Overleaf for editing (and to quickly copy and paste the commands you need!). For more comments visit this page on Dave's site, or if you'd like to work through a fuller introduction to LaTeX why not check out our free online course?

This is a basic journal article template which includes metadata fields for multiple authors, affiliations and keywords. It is also set up to use the lineno package for line numbers; these can be turned on by adding the 'lineno' option to the documentclass command.

A modern simple (academic) CV template. With no colour, but a few different tabulars for visualizing your skills and cv events. The template has no colour, but adding logos to your events will still make it relatively colourful (and thus, not strictly classic, why I called it "modern"). You can play around with different fonts. The places where the changes can be made are indicated by comments. The fancy font for the name can be taken away, if you don't want it. The github repo is here: https://github.com/latex-ninja/modern-simple-cv

This is a gorgeous template for bioRxiv pre-prints. An example manuscript using it can be found here.
