We're doing it again! #OpenCon 2015 comes to London on November 17th!
We are delighted (and hugely excited!) to announce that Overleaf, figshare and Altmetric will be organising this year's OpenCon Satellite event in London, with support from Digital Science.
This event will form one of the many international 'satellite' events of the main OpenCon 2015 conference that will take place on November 14-16 in Brussels, Belgium (and if you're heading to Brussels, be sure to say hello to Tim Alby who'll be there for Overleaf!).
When: 17th November, 6pm - 10pm
2 Trematon Walk (just off Wharfdale Road) Kings Cross
London N1 9FN
Registration Link: http://www.opencon2015.org/6264/opencon_2015_london
Programme: Details of the evening programme will be announced shortly. There will be food and drink provided.
If you want a taste of what's to come, last year's Open Con London 2014 satellite event that we organised with Sparrho and held at Imperial College London was a great success. With a fantastic line up of speakers and a diverse group of attendees, we had some very thought-provoking discussions, particularly around open data and reproducibility. The main sessions were live-streamed on the day and so the recordings are available to re-watch on YouTube.
You can follow the 2015 event online using the #OpenCon hashtag, and we'll post the livestream links nearer the time. See you in November!!
